DESCRIZIONE – DESCRIPTION:
Ristrutturazione totale di due appartamenti in una proprietà che si caratterizza per alcuni antichi
elementi preziosi come le colonne doriche binate, probabilmente ottocentesche, nell'androne di ingresso.
Il lavoro si è compiuto con la creazione di cinque camere da letto e altrettanti bagni, la costruzione della
nuova scala di legno di accesso alla terrazza al piano superiore, la formazione di due cucine. Inoltre,
a livello di adeguamento funzionale, sono stati realizzati nuovi impianti elettrici, di riscaldamento e
climatizzazione dell'aria. Sono stati mantenuti e restaurati i bei pavimenti in terrazzo e i serramenti di
porte e finestre di legno originali. E' stato inoltre compiuto il recupero delle parti comuni, inserendo al
piano terra un pavimento in masegni veneziani di recupero (selciato in trachite, la tipica pavimentazione
stradale veneziana), e un riordino generale delle murature, dell'illuminazione e dei servizi.
Complete renovation of two apartments on the second floor of a building near campo San Stefano.
The building is not important from a historical or decorative perspective, but it is a typical Venetian
townhouse of the early nineteenth century (even if the structures are certainly earlier). We retained and
restored the beautiful terrazzo floors and original wooden door and window frames. We intervened in
terms of functional adaptation creating new electrical, heating and air conditioning systems, incorporating
a total of two kitchens and five bathrooms (there were only two toilets before the works) complete with
related disposal systems implemented on the ground floor. We also restored the elegant common parts –
main hall and stairs. On the ground floor there was a recovery of the pavement in typical outdoor
Venetian stones (trachyte), and a general reorganization of the walls and lighting.
